What if some of the aliens out there are…good?
Okay, before you flame me, check out this story.
Now think about it — an asteroid/meteorite is probably what killed all the dinosaurs. And they were effing HUGE! WE’D be snuffed out in the blink of an eye. Given the existence of alien forces in the universe, which all of us at TRED believe in, it seems entirely possible that an alien mechanical construct could have been in orbit around earth in 1908 checking on the progress of humanity or something and saw the meteorite about to slam into the planet. Knowing that all
life on earth was at stake, maybe it SACRIFICED itself to save us all. They DID find that control panel carved with strange symbols in the middle of the blast site.
Although they never did come up with any more spacecraft debris. Hmmm…I wonder if the alien craft — or whatever it was — survived. Maybe it warped back to wherever it came from. Or maybe it was heavily damaged and hid itself somewhere on earth. What if it’s still here somewhere waiting to be found? Unless some government got to it already. Area 51, anyone? Or maybe Kapustin Yar, the Soviet Union’s top secret military facility?
Maybe we’ll never know. But I still think there’s a nano-possibility that some aliens might be on our side. We’ll have to wait to see if any of them come to help us when the invasion begins….

I’m a little skeptical about the scientific explanation about the Tunguska incident. I’ve always wondered about the radiation damage & genetic mutations. “Charged particles” aside.
Are there any links to images of the ‘panel’ that was found? The article makes a reference to it, but this is the first I’ve heard of it…
Assuming that these aliens were self-sacrificing enough to take a direct hit to their ship (certain death), as opposed to letting a back-water alien planet go up in smoke (figuratively); it’d be nice for them to come forward eventually and claim credit for their rescue of the human race.
sooooo coooooool movie.
They may be alien, but I’m sure that there are those among them who would gladly sacrifice themselves for the greater good.
Not all of them are evil. Some of them are quite fond of us.
AZ And your info is based on what?
I’ve heard a few reports that some are quite friendly. There are a few tales of a young man and his Camaro…. But some don’t like us at all. Trust me, from what I’ve heard you’ll know the unfriendly ones. The unfriendly ones make it pretty clear that they don’t like us. They are really nasty.
The friendly ones might already be here. I’m hearing that they are hiding in plain sight, but keeping watch over us. If those reports are true, I’m pretty darned glad.
First of all, if there were aliens (which i don’t believe because I haven’t seen them), what makes you think a few of them would be on our side? Sure I guess anything is possible, but what would they look like? If I were a friendly robot, I guess I’d be a really cool car, like a Lancia Stratos. Only 492 ever made. Now that would be one hot set of wheel, jack!!
Methusalen, I wouldn’t worry about “self-sacrificing aliens” too much. A civilization advanced enough to develop inter-stellar space travel and total matter-energy conversion is…sorry, I mean would be plenty capable of destroying an inanimate hunk of rock. If anything, they would be sorry for ever letting it get so close to begin with, maneuvering the blast to a planetary location where it would do the least damage was the best we…sorry, I mean they could do.
^ Ah, I see. And thank you, Be Be Umbel… um, for… clearing things up. I appreciate….. that.
