Now we’ve seen robots that look like robots and robots that look like cars, trucks, and motorcycles, but this one looks like an effing SNAKE! If humans can disguise robots as reptiles, think what the aliens could do! Which means now we gotta check every animal we see to make sure it’s not a killer alien bot. You never know, that cute little chihuahua might have a .50 caliber machinegun hidden inside it.
Beware of dogs! And cats! And everything!

As long as it’s not a bunch of robot spiders, I think I’ll be okay.
@Argent: Spiders? Like some sort of dark black arachnid, or maybe a group of Taranulas? I never was much of a fan of spiders either, but it’s their WEBS that I can’t stand, walking along, minding your own business and *WHAM!* you walk RIGHT INTO A SPIDERWEB YOU COULDN”T SEE… *Shudders.* Blargh, I hate the webs….
So, back to the article at hand… So, robotic snakes? If *we* can make little walking robotic bipeds, as well as walking dog-looking things, and now SNAKES; just how are we supposed to believe that these NBE invaders aren’t going to take modes OTHER than the cars we’ve seen so far?!?!? What if they *DO* take the form of small vehicles/electronics, etc… If they can do ANIMALS, what’s to keep them from using the form of a human next????
@ Methusalen: Gah! Walking into a spiderweb is just… YICK! And while you’re scraping off the web, you have to wonder where the damn spider ran off to. (In your hair? Down your shirt? Eeew, eeew, eeeeeeeeww!)
If it *is* possible to build a realistic animal robot, does this mean we’re going to have Replicants among us soon after? And how could you tell the difference? This is why I like my robots to look robotic. If they look really human, it kinda freaks me out.

@Argent Zephyr: If that’s the case, who’s to know if one’s even a human in the first place? How do we know that *we’re* not a Replicant??!?! Who really knows for sure anymore?
